Microprocessador's partnership with the Sonae Group started in 1985 when the company was part of the Sonae Group. This partnership has continued and has been strengthened, even after Microprocessador left the group in 1993.
In recent years, Sonae Arauco, the wood-based panels business, has made significant investments in its industrial units spread across several countries to increase production capacity, improve operational efficiency, and diversify into higher value-added products.
