Microprocessador participated in the Third Encontro das Agendas Mobilizadoras, organised by IAPMEI at Europarque, in Santa Maria da Feira. The event provided an excellent opportunity to showcase our contribution to the PRODUTECH R3 Agenda, a strategic initiative driving the digital and sustainable transformation of Portugal's Production Technologies sector.
The PRODUTECH R3 project aims to accelerate the structural transformation of the Production Technologies (PT) sector, enabling companies to take full advantage of the opportunities created by the green and digital transitions through innovation, advanced technologies, and collaborative development.
Within this ambitious project, Microprocessador is contributing to several key areas, including:
- Digitalisation of production processes;
- Development of production process models for simulation and optimisation;
- Integration of production workflows;
- Detection of system performance issues and root-cause analysis;
- Development of innovative digital solutions to assess resource efficiency and eco-efficiency;
- Quality management through computer vision systems;
- Development of smart objects for real-time data collection;
- Deployment of the CircProSys platform to assess the circularity of materials and industrial processes;
- Development of a semi-automatic sustainability reporting module.
The event was an excellent opportunity to exchange knowledge, strengthen collaboration among partners, and recognise the progress achieved across the consortium. It also reaffirmed Microprocessador's commitment to innovation, sustainability, and enhancing the competitiveness of Portuguese industry.
