Microprocessador participated in the ECP Green Summit, held at the Pavilhão de Portugal, marking the conclusion of the ECP – Ecocerâmica e Cristalaria de Portugal project.
During the event, our Director, António Pontes, took part in the Pop Talks, discussing the challenges shaping the future of industry and how digital technologies can help organisations improve efficiency, competitiveness, and sustainability.
We also had the opportunity to showcase an innovative solution developed by Microprocessador in partnership with CCG/ZGDV for the calibration of spray guns used in ceramic glazing processes.
Using Augmented Reality (AR) as an operational support tool, the solution incorporates a methodology supported by a web-based back-office application and a dedicated API for the calibration system, ensuring seamless integration with the existing technological ecosystem. In addition, it enables the storage, consultation and reuse of operational information and calibration data, promoting more efficient, structured and traceable process management.
Key benefits include the centralisation of operational information, the effective visualisation and management of production-related data, and the reuse of accumulated knowledge, contributing to greater consistency, control and optimisation of operations.
Developed within the context of an applied research project for the ceramics industry, this solution has the potential to be adopted across a wide range of industrial sectors, helping organisations to increase production efficiency, improve information traceability and support their digital transformation journey.
