Microprocessador attended the event “All Together, the Last One”,promoted by ECP – EcoCerâmica e Cristalaria de Portugal, held on June 3 at the Vista Alegre facilities in Ílhavo. The company was represented by Cristina Garrido, Project Leader for Microprocessador's activities within the initiative.
The ECP Eco-Ceramics and Crystal from Portugal Agenda is an integrated and cross-sector initiative for the ceramics and crystal industries. It focuses on addressing key competitiveness factors while strengthening the international positioning of these sectors through innovation, sustainability, and technological advancement.
Microprocessador contributes to the project through the study and implementation of several waste heat recovery technologies which, when combined, will form highly efficient heat recovery systems and lead to a substantial reduction in energy and gas consumption. In addition, the company is developing Computer Vision and Machine Learning solutions to remotely detect and assess corrosion issues in industrial chimneys. This work includes the development of a Non-Invasive Remote Surveillance software module that uses drone-collected data to monitor infrastructure conditions, significantly reducing the need for on-site human inspections.
