We would like to share the interview with our Director, António Pontes, conducted during the 3rd Agendas Meeting, which took place on 25 June in Santa Maria da Feira.
The interview highlights Microprocessador's participation in the PRODUTECH R3 Project – the Mobilising Agenda for the Production Technologies Sector for Reindustrialisation. This initiative aims to strengthen the Portuguese industrial sector in addressing the challenges of the green and digital transitions by leveraging major planned industrial investments, reducing dependence on external technologies, increasing the added value generated in Portugal, and fostering a more competitive and sustainable economy.
Microprocessador's contribution to this project is delivered through the development of modules for the AllSynergy software platform, enabling:
- The digitalisation of production processes;
- Improved energy efficiency through the Energy Management module;
- Enhanced quality through the implementation of innovative systems;
- The optimisation of production processes.
In addition, methodologies aligned with European and international best practices for sustainability and efficiency were developed to assess resource efficiency and eco-efficiency. The innovative CircProSys platform was also created to evaluate the circularity of materials and production processes.
The outcomes of this project will strengthen Microprocessador's portfolio of solutions for both domestic and international markets, reinforcing our position as a trusted technology partner while contributing to the competitiveness of Portuguese industry and generating greater added value for the national economy.
