Microprocessador is part of the consortium for the project RRP Agenda 'Eco-ceramics and Crystal from Portugal'

Microprocessor was present at the kick-off meeting of the Agenda "EcoCeramics and Crystal from Portugal",, which took place on 27 January, in Ilhavo, at the premises of Vista Alegre.

The session was conducted by Paulo Pires and Teodorico Pais, directors of Vista Alegre Atlantis (VAA), Cátia Carreira, Head of Innovation of the VAA Group, and Isabel Conceição, Project Manager of FNWay Consulting, Project Management Office (PMO) of the Agenda, who presented the Agenda and its governance model, as well as the technical details necessary for its implementation.

The meeting was also attended by Luís Mira Amaral, member of the Strategic Council of FNWAY, who highlighted the transformative potential of this Agenda for the entire value chain associated with the ceramics and crystal industry, to the extent that the response to the o energy transition, decarbonization, circular,ty, and digital transition are key dimensions for the competitiveness and growth of the sector.

Microprocessador was represented by Miguel Magalhães, responsible for the Integrated Systems area, and for coordinating Microprocessador´s work in this project. 

The "Eco-Ceramics and Crystal from Portugal" Agenda assumes itself as an integrative and transversal proposal for the Ceramics and Crystal sectors, oriented towards its critical factors of competitiveness and aiming at an improved international positioning. It is structured around six strategic pillars, namely: energy transition; decarbonization; circularity; digital transition; training and capacity building; and promotion and dissemination.

This Agenda,, led by Vista Alegre Atlantis, involves 30 partners representing the value chain, including three business associations, 17 business entities, and eight entities from the national scientific and technological system.
