Faro Airport is known to be an efficient airport, in various areas. It has been reducing its carbon impact for several years, and more recently the VINCI Group, to which ANA belongs, has set itself the goal of reducing its carbon impact by 50% by 2030.
Along with this environmental concern is operational sustainability, and the optimization of the installation in addition to the reduction in energy costs has made it possible to reduce investment in new equipment.
By assuming greater risk in the management of its infrastructures, with greater impact in the event of failure, Faro Airport has been decreasing on dimensions that gave us more security in the event of failure, but less efficiency.
