Microprocessador attended the ECP Green Conference 2025, held on 14 November in Coimbra. Our company was represented by our Director, António Pontes.
The ECP Green Conference is an event dedicated to promoting sustainability, innovation, and efficiency in the ceramics and glassware sectors. Bringing together specialists, researchers, business leaders, and representatives from public institutions, the conference showcased solutions that support the transition towards cleaner, more competitive, and environmentally responsible production processes.
One of the highlights was the POP-UP ECP, an immersive space featuring concrete examples of the developments and investments carried out under the ECP | Ecocerâmica e Cristalaria de Portugal project. This area demonstrated the significant technological, environmental, and industrial impact achieved through the collaborative efforts of the entire consortium.
Microprocessador´s contribution focuses on the study and implementation of multiple waste heat recovery technologies. When integrated, these solutions will form highly efficient heat recovery systems. Additionally, we are developing a Non-Invasive Remote Surveillance software module that will collect operational data using drone technology, supporting smarter monitoring and optimisation of industrial processes.
We are proud to contribute to initiatives that drive sustainable innovation and strengthen the future of the ceramics and glassware industries.
